Hammer Pluck

Sound Sample

This patch is part of a collection. Check it out here.

This patch received its name due to its percussive, hammer-style attack. It sounds similar to a hammer striking a piano string, or a harp being plucked. It has a much longer decay, which allows you to sustain notes. This means that this patch can take the form of a pluck or a pad sound with high attack, depending on how you play it. To make this pluck brighter and more energetic, you can use the mod wheel to open up a saw synth.
