POD Bass Essentials is our essential collection of bass presets for POD Go, featuring two rigs that deliver incredible bass tone: Ampeg and Tonehammer.

The Ampeg rig offers exceptional versatility, ranging from classic clean tones to rich, saturated overdrive. It includes a stomp for increased compression and another for enhanced mids, perfect for stacking with overdrive or fuzz blocks.

The Tonehammer rig is built around the Tonehammer preamp, celebrated for its thick low end and superior overdrive, making it a staple in worship music. This rig also features a “Bass Synth” stomp, creating a larger-than-life fuzz effect that’s iconic in the genre.

Rig 1 - Ampeg

This rig is designed to be extremely versatile, ranging from very classic clean tones to saturated overdrive. It includes a stomp that increases compression as well a stomp that adds more mids to your tone. These stack great with the overdrive or fuzz blocks.

Rig 2 - Tonehammer

This rig is built around the Tonehammer preamp. It is one of the most common preamps in worship music and is known for its thick low end and excellent overdrive. This rig also includes a “Bass Synth” stomp that creates a larger-than-life fuzz that is commonly heard in the genre.
