I get an error message when I import into Logic Pro X

If you are running Logic 10.5 or higher and try to import Worship Start patches, you may run into error messages as a result of bugs and compatibility issues associated with Mac OS Big Sur or even the new Logic update. For example:

“The patch is from an older version of MainStage. Open the patch in MainStage 3 or later, export it again, then open it in Logic Pro".

If Logic is rejecting patches or you get error messages like the above:

  • Double check that you have saved your patches into the correct directory: Audio Music Apps / Patches / Instruments.

  • Restart Logic Pro X

  • Restart your computer

  • Delete the patches from the directory. If you have MainStage 3, open and load your desired patches into an empty template, and then save them to your computer. Then try restarting Logic and check to see if it will accept the patches.

If nothing is working, message the Worship Start homepage and someone from our team will help you get up and running.
