The Arpeggiator Player stopped working

If your arpeggiator player has stopped working, it could be a variety of different problems.

  1. Make sure that the play button in the top right corner of MainStage is ACTIVE before you start your arpeggiator.

  2. Check the version of MainStage you are running. If you have anything below MainStage 3.4, it will not be compatible with the arpeggiator functionality. If you have MainStage 3.5, you may be experiencing software compatibility issues associated with the update.

  3. If your computer experiences feedback or a CPU spike, the arpeggiator player may stop working temporarily. If this happens, reset your MIDI.

  4. Make sure all instances of Scripter and Arpeggiator plug-ins are active and engaged on all channel strips.

  5. If you’ve made a bunch of changes and saved your concert, you may have overwritten the settings that are crucial for the arpeggiator section to work. Close MainStage and try opening up a fresh copy of our Backing Tracks Kit.

If problems still persist, contact us using the messenger chat on our home page. Someone from our team will be happy to assist you.
